Synopsis
The bereavement therapist begins to tell her clients exactly what she is thinking
Disregarding her training and ethics, she finds herself making huge changes in people’s lives – including her own. The "Shrinking" share the key moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveal who did the best Harrison Ford impression.. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they managed to get Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type,” and it was made to listen to people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least take it to Ford first, because they thought he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was involved in the project, which attracted interest from other major actors.
The acting was fantastic
Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he’s cheered up nonetheless.. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). It was a solid production and a very unique story.
Shrinking has plenty of heartfelt moments, awkward moments, mildly funny, cute moments, and laugh-out-loud moments
I love how each character embraces their imperfections, shows vulnerability, and uses humor for spiritual growth. I hope they continue to make more seasons of this because the character development warrants it. Perfect? Not.
But none of us
I think overuse of profanity takes away from the overall power potential. It’s almost like the writers are ramping up the show with violence. I personally don’t think it’s necessary. That’s why I gave it an 8.
