I really wanted to like this movie
The beginning was really intriguing and interesting and Finn Wittrock is one of my favorites (I enjoyed seeing him in American Horror Story). I honestly don’t think this movie would be watchable without him. So it starts off interesting but quickly becomes predictable and boring. I could guess every twist and turn in the story and I want to be surprised when I see a new movie.
What drives him?
It’s a slow process, too slow. The ending is, well, predictable too. I don’t think a serial killer would give someone that many chances. I would have liked to have seen the whole thing played out more from the serial killer’s perspective.
What’s the story?
The script isn’t as psychological as many other films and falls pretty flat. I had high hopes. It’s definitely worth watching, at least for fans of Finn Wittrock. The final season of What We Do in the Shadows is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
