You really don’t get into his situation
Synopsis
An anthology series about high-profile crimes or killers who gained public attention and notoriety… Evan Peters [Jeffrey Dahmer] says they had one rule, from Ryan Murphy [Creator], to follow going into the series: that they would never be told from Dahmer’s Point of View. "As an audience, you don’t really sympathize with him. You rather observe it, you know, from the outside.".
Featured on Jeremy Vine : Episode #5195 (2022)
Many episodes feature 3M Command(TM) tape displayed in the kitchen of Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment, the latest occurring in 1991. 3M debuted its first wave of Command(TM) products in 1996. This was a difficult watch…for many reasons. As a young adult, when all of this happens, it….what do the kids say?…hits differently.
Well, that’s Dahmer’s story
So by default it’s hard, disgusting, and scary. The acting is top notch. Every performance… it’s like you’re right there in the room watching this god awful series of events unfold in real time.
I can’t understand how the actors got through this
The timeline shift can be a bit hard to track. It’s not something you can just stop and go back to. You have to rewind or start the episode over. All in all, probably…this is the best description of Dahmer.
Recommended for cast iron stomachs
I would recommend watching "My Best Friend Dahmer" before watching this, as it coincidentally and appropriately serves as a backstory. Do not watch this if you are prone to vomiting.
