Mufasa: The Lion King explores the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands and enlists Rafiki to pass on Mufasa’s legend to a young lion cub, Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with the signature of Timon and Pumbaa. Told through flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a lovable lion named Taka, heir to the royal lineage. A chance encounter sets off on a vast journey for an extraordinary group of misfits in search of their destiny – their bonds are tested as they work together to evade a sinister and deadly enemy.
