Synopsis
Once again, Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails face a powerful new enemy, Shadow, a mysterious thief with abilities unlike anything they’ve encountered before. Team Sonic must find an unlikely alliance with their abilities. Both “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” (2001) and “Shadow the Hedgehog” (2005) were named by the creators of the previous films as a source of inspiration for the single-player game. The film is also inspired by the narrative elements of the Saturday morning cartoon series Eat Sonic (1993). Commander Walters: [Shadow] Shadow’s story started just like yours, Sonic.
